No, you only pay by card or cash when you check out. We record your drinks and any other chargeable services via our till system on your locker key – so you can relax completely.

‘Pluto Sauna’ will appear on your statement.
If you prefer to pay discreetly, you can pay in cash — this is, of course, possible here and no problem at all.

Yes — our bar serves hot snacks and light bites, which you can charge directly to your locker key. For a long visit — and some stay for up to 24 hours — we recommend having a bite to eat now and then. The bar is open throughout our opening hours.

A free rental towel is included in your admission fee. If you need slippers or more towels, you can rent them at the cash desk for a small rental fee. Loosing your towel is charged with € 10,-

Every entrance but the 2 hours entrance are valid for 24 hours. If you want to stay even longer our POS system will charge you €3 per additional started hour.

Sure, lads. You’ll find our private booths on the upper and lower floors — for those moments when you want to get away from it all. Each one is furnished differently; no two are alike. Sling, St. Andrew’s cross, bench or mirror. You certainly won’t get bored.
You can’t book them or reserve them for a specific time — just pop in, lie down and enjoy.

We have a small smoker’s lounge, so no one must leave our place just to have a cigarette.

We have a spacious steam sauna! Enjoy yourself in our dimly lit labyrinth. We are happy to support anything that promotes relaxation and well-being and fosters a sense of community.
Incidentally, a steam sauna (or steam bath) is ideal for cleansing the skin and soothing the respiratory tract. Unlike the rather ‘dry’ air in a Finnish sauna, the steam sauna has 100 per cent humidity. The steam creates a cosy atmosphere that shouldn’t put any strain on the heart and circulatory system.

Privacy, discretion and intimacy are most important to us. To allow every guest a stress-free time the recording of pictures and videos is prohibited.

You can choose your favourite blend from over 40 different scents.

In addition, we hold Aufguss sessions in the dry sauna on the ground floor every hour on the hour on the first Tuesday of the month from 6 pm to 10 pm, every Thursday from 6 pm to 10 pm, every Saturday from 6 pm to 10 pm, and on Sundays and public holidays from 12 noon to 9 pm.

The water in our pools is cleaned and disinfected in several stages and regularly topped up with fresh water. Water analyses are carried out frequently to check the effectiveness of the disinfection process. In addition, monthly samples are taken by the Institute for Applied Building and Swimming Pool Hygiene (LVHT). Our pool water has been proven to meet the highest quality standards.

Every Wednesday, we completely change the water in the pool and the hot tub. Due to the water change, the hot tub maybe does not reach the optimum temperature (36°-37°) until around 5.00 pm on Wednesdays.

We have two French-style toilets — one on the upper floor and one in the basement. Soap and hand sanitiser are always available. You can buy flush caps at the ticket office or bring your own.

Yes – we provide free shower gel in all shower areas.
Yes – there is lubricant in all cubicles.
Yes – there are dispensers with free PLUTO condoms on every floor.

Once a month (Oct.–May), we offer anonymous, free and straightforward STI tests.
In partnership with AIDS-Hilfe Essen and Herzenslust.
